Сargo transportation insurance is usually divided into insurance of the cargo itself and liability for the goods entrusted for delivery.

Cargo insurance represents the interests of the product owner on the one hand and the interests of the transport and logistics firm that transports the products on the other hand.

Depending on what type of transport is used during delivery, the following types of cargo insurance during transportation are distinguished:

• Insurance of cargo transported by cars;
• Sea and river cargo insurance;
• Insurance of freight transported by air;
• Insurance of shipment transported by rail.

Cargo insurance is critical because it protects the client from any losses during cargo delivery.
